An expansive apartment with medieval roots and 20th c. Italian design.
Once used as defensive walls, then as the town hall, and later as the nursery school, we fully restored this historical building in 2025. La Torre is fully air conditioned, boasts a modern kitchen (with espresso machine and Smeg appliances) and two spacious bedrooms, each with private bath. A travertine fireplace centers the living area and the views from your windows are of the wild hills of Umbria and the town of Todi off in the distance. Outside you'll find an outdoor terrace with lounge chairs, dining for 4, and a jasmine-covered pergola.
La Torre is set in a small village of about 500 inhabitants. (It's just across the street from La Casetta.) It's a quick walk to our piazza for an espresso or aperitivo. Five minutes down the road is our delicious pizzeria/trattoria. Todi is 20 minutes away, Montefalco about 30 minutes and Perugia and Assisi about 40 minutes.
Designed as a companion to La Casetta, you'll find the same terrazzo tiles, Italian-designed fittings and a touch of 20th c. classics like an artichoke lamp and Flos globes. Tables and chairs are sourced from local antique markets.
La Torre Apartment welcomes up to 4 people. It can be rented separately, or, if you are staying at La Casetta and need a couple more bedrooms, this is the perfect add-on.
