A peaceful sanctuary overlooking the Tiber River Valley, the spacious outdoor terrace, off the living room, is covered with white wisteria clinging to oak beams and features an outdoor fireplace that is perfect for cool fall nights or grilling bistecca and bruschetta. Below the terraces, the expansive stone swimming pool includes a paved area with chairs, lounges and night lighting. Each bedroom has its own private terrace (one has a freestanding outdoor bathtub). The authentic Umbrian landscaping (complete with sage, rosemary, bay and basil) includes cherry, walnut and olive groves; fig and cypress trees; rosemary bushes; jasmine-covered columns and endless rows of lavender.
Pool configuration: A maximum depth of 1.5 m (5 ft) and a large interior shelf of shallow water (10 in). No diving please.
